    Sarah Oppenheimer is an architectural manipulator. Transforming a viewer into an agent of spatial change, Oppenheimer creates a field of action within the time-based system of a living building.

    Recent solo projects include Sensitive Machine (Wellin Museum of Art, 2021), N-01 (Kunstmuseum Thun 2020), S-337473 (Mass MoCA 2019), S-337473 (Wexner Center for the Arts 2017), S-281913 (Pérez Art Museum Miami 2016), S-399390 (MUDAM Luxembourg 2016) and 33-D (Kunsthaus Baselland 2014).Her work has been exhibited at such venues as ZKM, the Baltimore Museum, the Andy Warhol Museum, the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego, Art Unlimited at Art Basel, the Mattress Factory, the Drawing Center, and the Sculpture Center. Oppenheimer is currently a senior critic at the Yale University School of Art.

    Sable Elyse Smith is an interdisciplinary artist, writer, and educator based in New York. Using video, sculpture, photography, and text, she points to the carceral, the personal, the political, and the quotidian to speak about a violence that is largely unseen, and potentially imperceptible.

    Her work has been featured at MoMA Ps1, New Museum, The Studio Museum in Harlem, JTT gallery and numerous others. Smith has received awards from Creative Capital, Fine Arts Work Center, the Queens Museum, Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, Rema Hort Mann Foundation, the Franklin Furnace Fund, Louis Comfort Tiffany Foundation and Art Matters. She is currently Assistant Professor of Visual Art at Columbia University.

    Two works by Smith are included in the exhibition Marking Time: Art in the Age of Mass Incarceration, currently on view at the Bell and Cohen Galleries of the Brown Arts Institute through December 18, 2022. For more information, visit the Bell Gallery’s website.

    Stephanie Dinkins is a transmedia artist who creates projects that foster dialog about race, gender, aging, and our future histories. Her art practice centers emerging technologies, documentary practices, and social collaboration toward more equitable social and technological ecosystems. Dinkins is Kusama Endowed Professor of Art at Stony Brook University, where she founded the Future Histories Studio.

    Dinkins exhibits internationally at a broad spectrum of community, private, and institutional venues. Dinkins is a United States Artist Fellow, Knight Arts & Tech Fellow and Creative Capital Grantee. ​Recent exhibitions include​: In Search of the Present, Espoo Museum of Modern Art, Finland, Stephanie Dinkins: On Love & Data, Queens Museum of Art, ​FUTURES, Smithsonian, Washington D.C;​ BioMedia, ZKM| Center for Art and Media, Germany,​ and The Imitation Game, Vancouver Art Gallery, Canada.

    Letha Wilson is known for combining photography with industrial materials like concrete and steel. She explores the magnetic pull of the American West, alluding to landscape’s intrinsic role in our own myths of reinvention, endless possibility, and inevitable promise. Raised in Colorado, Wilson currently lives and works in Craryville and Brooklyn, New York. She earned her BFA from Syracuse University, and a MFA from Hunter College. Residencies include Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, MacDowell, Yaddo, Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts, and the Headlands Center for the Arts, among others. Wilson has exhibited at MASS MoCA, deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum, International Center for Photography, Columbus Museum of Art and the Aldrich Museum of Contemporary Art. Letha’s work has been reviewed in Artforum, Art in America, the New York Times, and The New Yorker, among others. In Fall 2022 she will be the Windgate Artist-in-Residence at SUNY Purchase.
